Adult Bible Classes

A place for people to build authentic community, deepen their faith, and discover their purpose

You Belong Here

Grow Together

Faith was never meant to be a solo journey. Whether you've been walking with Jesus for decades or you're just starting to explore, there's something powerful about opening God's Word alongside others who are asking the same questions and seeking the same truth.

Our Adult Bible Classes meet Sunday mornings and offer a space to dig into Scripture, wrestle with real-life application, and build meaningful connections along the way. Each 12-week study takes you deeper into a specific book of the Bible or topic related to Christian living—giving you time to reflect, discuss, and grow.

We believe transformation happens in community. Come find a class, pull up a chair, and discover what it looks like to learn and grow alongside others who are on the same journey.

The Minor Prophets

A Call to Repentance and A Promise of Hope
The so-called “Minor Prophets” are anything but minor—as a collection, they speak with a unified voice the message of God to a wayward people during the most tumultuous times in Israel’s history. Join John Ferris as he leads the class through a book-by-book study of exile and restoration. The minor prophets each sought to warn the people of God’s judgment and the consequences of not listening to Him. God spoke through the prophets to call the people to repentance and to provide a message of hope for restoration after judgment and exile. In this class, you will see how God continues to have a relevant message for us in the teaching of His Word. Idolatry, hypocrisy and spiritual apathy remain the temptations of our own hearts. And the hope of the people of Israel is our hope, too, that God desires to pour out His lovingkindness upon us when we turn to Him.

The Fruit of the Spirit

An Invitation to a Fruitful Life

Join Elizabeth Dailing in a slow study of Galatians 5–a chapter that invites us to marvel at the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. As we dive into the fruit of the Spirit, we’ll also spend time examining the works of the flesh, which Paul contrasts so vividly. This study isn’t about trying harder or striving in your own strength. It’s about abiding in Jesus, the true vine. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead is at work in you, enabling you to walk in step with him and bear fruit that reflects his character.

Misreading Scripture with Western Eyes

An Invitation to a Fruitful Life
What was clear to the original readers of Scripture is not always clear to us. Because of the cultural distance between the biblical world and our contemporary setting, we often bring modern thoughts to the text. Join Scott Moore in a discussion of this important book. Authors E. Randolph Richards and Brandon O’Brien make a convincing case that those who trust in the Bible should (for biblical reasons) be more aware of themselves when reading the Word. In Misreading Scripture with Western Eyes, you will gain a better understanding of yourself, the Christian world as it now exists and the Bible.

FAQ

We Know You Might Be Wondering...

We know walking into something new can feel intimidating. Here are answers to questions we hear most often. We want you to feel completely comfortable joining us.

Do I need to be a member of the church to participate?

Not at all! Our Adult Bible Classes are open to anyone. Whether you're a longtime church member, new to our church, or just checking things out. We welcome people at every stage of their faith journey.

What if I don't know anyone?

You're not alone. Our classes are welcoming and make a point of including newcomers. Within a few weeks, you'll start seeing familiar faces. We've all been new before, and we know what that's like.

Do I need to know the Bible well to join a Bible study?

Absolutely not. Our classes welcome people at all levels. From those just cracking open a Bible for the first time to those who've been studying Scripture for decades. Questions are valued and no one's expected to have all the answers. We're all learning together.

What's the time commitment?

Each study runs for 12 weeks and meets on Sunday mornings. Life is busy; we get it. Come when you can, and know there's grace for the times you need to miss. Whether you make every class or join when you're able, you're always welcome.

Can I join mid-quarter?

Yes! While starting at the beginning of a study is ideal, you're welcome to jump in at any point. We'll help you get caught up and feel right at home.
